CAPAC BESS

CAPAC BESS is a commercially designed battery energy storage system (BESS). It combines the technology platform, system integration and modular service modules into a consistent project and operating structure.

Strategic Positioning

The focus is on aligning all parameters that are critical to the delivery of capital-intensive storage projects at an early stage: technology selection, grid connection, operating strategy and revenue model are developed as a technically and commercially coherent whole.

The service modules are an integral part of this system approach and can also be commissioned independently – for example, for site analysis, feasibility assessment or energy-market simulation, even without an immediate commitment to a specific system implementation.

The result is a BESS with clear system logic and an unambiguous allocation of responsibilities – from project development and implementation through to operations.

Technology
Architecture

CAPAC BESS combines the physical storage platform with all grid- and system-relevant components to create fully coordinated infrastructure. The technical configuration is tailored to project-specific MW/MWh requirements, grid requirements and the operating strategy.

  • Technical components

The result is a BESS with clear system logic and an unambiguous allocation of responsibilities – from project development and implementation through to operations.

Outcome

A fully integrated, grid-compliant and scalable BESS.

Commercial
Implications

CAPAC BESS is designed for robust investment and financing models. Integrating technology, regulatory requirements and the operating model at system level as early as the planning phase creates greater predictability.

  • Commercially relevant factors

CAPAC BESS combines the physical storage platform with all grid- and system-relevant components to create fully coordinated infrastructure. The technical configuration is tailored to project-specific MW/MWh requirements, grid requirements and the operating strategy.

Outcome

Financeable projects with a stable long-term revenue structure.

Integrated Service Modules

CAPAC BESS combines technical system integration with clearly defined project and operating responsibility.

Depending on the agreed scope, CAPAC undertakes engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning as an EPC partner, or coordinates these services as part of the overall integration. The commercial structure can take the form of a conventional investment or Storage-as-a-Service, with no initial investment required.

The scope of services can be selected modularly – from individual project components to complete delivery and operations management.

  • Service modules

CAPAC BESS combines technical system integration with clearly defined project and operating responsibility.

Outcome

End-to-end responsibility for the infrastructure – from the initial concept to performance optimization.

Specific Operating and Financing Model: Storage-as-a-Service

As an infrastructure model, CAPAC BESS can be implemented not only as a capital investment, but also as Storage-as-a-Service.

Under the Storage-as-a-Service model, CAPAC delivers, integrates and operates the storage infrastructure. The project partner uses the system in return for a contractually defined service fee with clearly specified performance parameters. The allocation of risk and responsibility is defined unambiguously and transparently in the contract. The model is particularly suitable for companies that want to use flexibility without committing equity or building balance-sheet infrastructure.

  • Structural features

As an infrastructure model, CAPAC BESS can be implemented not only as a capital investment, but also as Storage-as-a-Service.

Outcome

A commercially predictable BESS without an initial investment and with clearly defined cash-flow, SLA and responsibility structures.

Discuss Your Project

Battery storage projects are long-term infrastructure decisions. Investment security and project quality depend on the consistent alignment of storage duration, system sizing, the safety concept and the revenue model.

During a structured initial consultation, we clarify:

  • Suitable storage duration and system sizing
  • Technical integration requirements
  • Underlying financial assumptions and sensitivities
  • Regulatory framework conditions
  • The appropriate project and service structure

You will receive a clearly structured, robust basis for deciding the strategic direction of your battery storage project.
